Steps to buying a home:
1. Financing
Most people need a loan to buy real estate. If you don’t, skip to #2. If you do need a loan, let’s get you pre-approved. We can be your lender, or we can work with a lender you choose.
2. What’s for sale?
Review listings for sale on our website, (or Zillow, Realtor.com, or anywhere), and choose properties. Then, ask us to see a home, and when it’s right, we write an offer.
3. Offer
We draft your offer. It must be in writing and professionally drafted to protect you. We’ll explain your obligations and entire process, before it is submitted. We submit the offer and work with you and the seller to get your offer accepted.
4. Open escrow and we get to work!
Then, we manage your transaction. We work to protect your interests and rights under the contract and law. We secure disclosures, coordinate inspections and perform many other steps required under the purchase contract. We work with lending, coordinate the appraisal and related matters. If everything goes according to plan, the lender sends money to escrow, we close the sale and you get keys!
